Milimetre (MM) = 10th of a centimetre
Kilometre (KM) = 1000 metres
Micrometre ( A u with a line coming down from it) = 1000th of a milimetre

How to play Soccer (Football)

Soccer is a really cool game and it's my favourite sport!!!!!! This is how you play:
First get a team of EQUAL , sides.
Next you choose a team to start by flipping a coin etc. When you've done that the way to start is you put the ball on the centre of the field in the big circle (which should be on a soccer field) and pass the ball to one of your team mates. Then you carry on with the game.
In soccer (football) you can't use your arm or your hands except if your the goalkeeper. The positions are goalkeeper, defence, midfield and striker.
The goalkeeper can't pick up the ball if he's out of his penalty box. If there's a really heavy slide tackle or a hand ball there is a free kick but if that happens in the penalty box the opposing team gets a penalty which means they take a shot from a certain area and no one on the opposing team can make a wall or anything else like that.
If you do a really heavy slide tackle or a hand ball or if you argue with the referee  you can get a yellow or a red card. If you get a yellow card it means a warning and if you get a red card you off field for the rest of the game. Also if you get two yellow cards you get a automatic red and you go off field. If your really skilled you can do skill moves such as a step over, rainbow flick(really hard!!!), banana kick, bicycle kick, 360, 360 rainbow flick(my favourite) and lot's more.
If the opposing team kicks the ball off field you get a throw in from the place which they kicked the ball out. If the opposing team kicks it out of the line of their own goal, you get a corner. A corner is when you kick the ball from the corner line. A goal kick is the same as a corner except if you kick it out the goalkeeper kicks it from the side of the corner of the end of the penalty box of the side where it had been kicked out.
Soccer is a really cool game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Tsunami's

Tsunami's are not very nice incidents to experience and they usually occur quite a few times per year.
They are very deadly and they are stronger than you think. They can detonate buildings, kill people, obliterate houses, bend road signs and lot's more.
The average hight of a tsunami is only about 2-3 foot (60-90 cm). BUT!!!!! They are so fast that they can go faster than a jet plane!!! Also they have recorded tsunami's at  3000 metres!!!!! (3 KM) But those tsunamis don't really occur in a civilisation when people are around. They only occur in landslides for some reason. Tsunami's like that are called megatsunami's.
Tsunami's are caused by other incidents such as Earthquakes,Volcanic eruptions and underwater explosions like nuclear bombs hitting the water or an asteroid or a metorite.

My sister (annoying, Majorly!!!!)

My sister's name is Asha but I call her Stubby for some reason. She is 3 years old and she's REALLY annoying. She go's in my room and messes up my bed, she goes in my room and steals my stuff like my MP3, etc. Also while me and my friend are kicking a ball on the tramp she comes on and we don't want to kick the ball because she would probably cry and tell on us. Sometimes when I'm watching T.V. she comes in and pulls my hair and messes up the T.V. Soon, I'm gonna get a lock on my bedroom door. I sometimes annoy her but she usually starts it. I think she annoys me because she feels safe around me. She used to call me Rara when she was 1 and 2 but now she calls me Rohan. She's probably gonna get more annoying when she's older.

LASER

LASER is a  very useful mechanism for emitting electromagnetic radiation, often visible light via the process of stimulated emission.
LASER was invented in 1960 by Charles Hard Townes in an  experiment in the United States Air Force.
LASER actually is an abbreviation for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. Not many people would think it's an abbreviation but it is.
The emitted light is usually a spatially coherent. Coherent is a property of waves that enables stationary inference. In LASER technology ''coherent light'' denotes a light source that emits light waves of identical frequency, phase and polarization.
LASER light is generally a narrow-wavelength electromagnetic spectrum monochromatic light.

Doctor Who

Doctor Who is an awesome T.V show that I watch a lot. It's said to be the longest running T.V show and it's been running since 1963!!!  Doctor who is about an alien called the doctor (who looks like a human) that travels in  time and space. The name of his spaceship is the TARDIS. It stand for 'Time And Relevant Dimensions In Space'. He usually has a companion. Some of the monsters on Doctor Who are: The Daleks, Cybermen, Sontarons, Silurains, Weeping Angels (my favourite), Smilers,Prisoner Zero and lots more. When the doctor dies he regenerates into another body. He can regenerate 12 times until he fully dies. At the moment he is on his tenth generation (eleventh body). My two favourite doctors are the two latest ones,  the tenth doctor (David Tennant) and the eleventh doctor (Matt Smith).

High Mountains

Some mountains are bigger than others some are also wider than others, so I'm gonna tell you about VERY tall mountains.
At the moment Mount Everest is the tallest mountain on Earth but K2 isn't far behind. Also it's said that K2 is actually harder to climb than Mount Everest.  I think it's called Mount Everest because its like going on forever; so EVERest.
The top ten highest mountains are:
1. Mount Everest
2. K2
3. Kanchenjunga
4. Lhotse
5. Makalu
6. Cho Oyu
7. Dhaulagiri
8. Manaslu 1
9. Nanga Parbat
10. Annapurna 1
But !!!!!   Hang on; I said Earth,  NOT   the Solar System. The tallest mountain in the solar system is Ascraeus Mons with a whopping 18,209 metres!!!  Mount Everest is only 8,848 metres.
Wait!!!  Hang on - there has been a glitch! Scientists have actually found a mountain on Mars that is  21,171 metres in height. Thats from our school to Lud Valley! Or 302.4428571 front fields stacked on top of each other! I wish I could climb Mount Everest. NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chewing gum

Chewing gum is really nice; there are lots of different flavours and brands you can get. So I'm going to talk to you about chewing gum.
Chewing gum first came out in 1848 in Greece.  The only colour they could make it out of was purple because it was the only food colouring they had.
Some of the brands are 5 gum (my favourite), Extra,  Xylitol, Eclipse, Doublemint,  Mentos, ,Juicy Fruit, P.K. and lots more.
Some of the flavours of 5 gum are Spearmint (electro), Peppermint (Cobalt), Tropical (pulse) and Watermelon (Tempest).
Some of the flavours of Extra are Tropical, Spearmint, Peppermint, Blueberry, Banana Berry and Strawberry.
Eclipse packs come in a pack of 10 small pellets. It costs $1. Extra packs come in a pack of 14 long thick pieces. It costs $1.90. 5 gum packs come in a pack of 12 very long very wide thin pieces. It costs $2.30.
I hope you buy chewing gum now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FIFA 10 (playstation)

FIFA 10 is a really awesome PlayStation game! You can also play it on wii, Xbox 360, computer and Nintendo DS. You can be in 30 different leagues and theres over 100 teams. I usually play as Barcelona because they have got heaps of good players and they are the best team in the world.
You can also choose what team you verse.
The controls are x pass, circle shoot, triangle through ball, square slide tackle and long pass. You use the left analog stick to control your players and the right analog stick to do fancy tricks like a step over, a rainbow flick etc. If you hold down R1 you sprint. If at the end of the game you draw with the opposing team you go onto extra time. If you draw in extra time you go to penalty shoot outs. Another thing you can do is make your own team and your own players. You can also choose the difficulty, you can choose easy, amateur, professional and world class.

GO BUY THE GAME NOW,IT'S SO AWESOME!!!!!!!

Four Square

Some people in our class play four square at lunch time and at morning tea. It's a great game to play and it's really fun.
Now I'm going to tell you the rules of the game and how to play.
First whoever gets the ball out from the classroom gets to be in king (the best square). Next, whoever gets outside second gets to be in Queen (the second best square) then the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth squares, and if more people come they wait in line.
The real rules of playing four square is that you only have four squares but we play with a three by three square; the one in the middle is king and sometimes if there are heaps of people we play twelve square in a four by three square.

Whoever is in king starts the serve. They bounce it on the ground first and then pass it to someone else in any of the other squares. When you serve if it lands on a line or out of the other squares it's an unfair serve and then the king is automatically out. The other ways to have an unfair serve is if you hit it too hard or if you hit the ball higher than someone's shoulder you will be out. That occurs in all circumstances, even when players that aren't king do it.
There is also this move that I like; it's called a bus stop. It's when someone else passes it to you but it doesn't touch the ground first; you can hit it it on a volley and down into your own square and pass it it again. You can also get out if it bounces first in your square and then you hit it in your own square. There are also poaches. A poach is when it bounces in someone else's square and then you hit it. You will then be out.
That is how you play four square.

My Rubber Band Car

The Totara syndicate are making rubber band power cars. The only things we can use are: unlimited amounts of cardboard, one rubber band to power the car, axles (skewers) and a piece of straw.
At the start me and Albie started to make a rubber band car but the wheels that we made out of cardboard were a bit wonky so it wouldn't work! So then we took off the wheels and started to make a car with Rohan O. But for some reason Rohan  O. broke the car, took off the wheels and then ditched us!!!!!!!  So then me and Albie  started to make another car.

The next day I found a piece of cardboard with one wheel on the front so we went over to look for some other wheels to put on but then Flynn came along and got the hot glue gun and glued his base to our base and now our car is an awesome 3 wheeler.  It only goes about 10cm.
